ARJ Garden Machinery Servicing
from only £89.99*
ARJ Garden Machinery servicing is a comprehensive maintenance and repair service aimed at keeping your outdoor petrol equipment in optimal working condition. This service is essential for various types of garden machinery, such as lawnmowers, chainsaws, leaf blowers, hedge trimmers, and more. Proper servicing ensures that your equipment operates efficiently, extends its lifespan, and promotes safety during use.
Below is a detailed description of garden machinery servicing:
Inspection and Assessment:
- The service begins with a thorough inspection of the garden machinery to identify any visible issues or damage.
- I will check for wear and tear, loose or damaged parts, and any signs of corrosion.
Cleaning:
- The machinery is cleaned to remove dirt, grass clippings, debris, and other contaminants that can hinder performance.
- Cleaning also helps in identifying hidden problems and allows for a better assessment of the equipment’s overall condition.
Oil and Fluids:
- I will check and change engine oil, transmission fluid, and other necessary fluids as per the manufacturer’s recommendations.
- This helps to maintain proper lubrication and prevents overheating or engine damage.
Filter Replacement:
- Air and fuel filters are inspected and replaced if needed to ensure efficient combustion and prevent engine damage.
Blade Maintenance:
- For lawnmowers and other cutting equipment, blades are inspected, sharpened, or replaced as necessary to ensure clean and even cutting.
Spark Plug Replacement:
- Spark plugs play a crucial role in the ignition process. They are inspected and replaced if they show signs of wear or fouling.
Belt and Chain Inspection:
- For machinery with belts or chains, these components are checked for tension, wear, and proper alignment.
Electrical System:
- The electrical system is inspected, including the battery and wiring, to ensure safe and reliable operation.
Fuel System:
- The fuel system is cleaned and inspected for leaks and deterioration.
Safety Checks:
- All safety features, including safety switches and guards, are inspected to ensure they function correctly.
Test Run:
- After servicing, the machinery is started and tested to verify that it operates smoothly and efficiently.
Repairs and Parts Replacement:
- Any identified issues or damaged components are repaired or replaced with genuine parts to maintain the equipment’s performance and safety.
Adjustment and Calibration:
- If necessary, adjustments and calibrations are made to ensure the equipment meets the manufacturer’s specifications.
Lubrication:
- Bearings, moving parts, and pivot points are lubricated to reduce friction and prolong the machinery’s life.
Regular garden machinery servicing is essential to keep your equipment in top condition and minimise the risk of breakdowns, ensuring that work in your garden can be completed efficiently and safely.
It is recommended to schedule servicing at least once a year or as recommended by the manufacturer.
*Cost will be confirmed upon initial inspection. Price is plus parts and is subject to make and model.
